January 2026 saw the 10th anniversary of Macclesfield Brass, with a special rehearsal to celebrate the occasion! As well as a cake to mark the event, we watched a compilation of images from our time together, starting out as a group of just 12 in Morton Hall.

Since then we have trebled in number, learnt to play well over 100 pieces of music of various styles, acquired a uniform, performed around 100 times for audiences in and around Macclesfield, won the odd prize (!!!) ... and have had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

During the course of 2026 we will mark our anniversary year with an ambitious schedule of performances and social events, and will look forward to our next decade!
